The EDGE Project is a Hampshire Museums and Galleries Trust initiative which seeks to actively engage young people aged 14 – 24 with Hampshire museums, galleries, libraries, art centers and discovery centers by running events, exhibitions and performances for and by young people.
Museums, libraries, discovery centers & galleries are all spaces which young people do not readily access or engage with. Working with various organisations and partners, the EDGE Project works to break down the barriers between the venues and young people.
The EDGE Project operates in 7 areas within Hampshire; Andover, Aldershot, Alton, New Milton, Winchester, Basingstoke and Gosport. Projects have included fashion shows, films, exhibitions, photography projects and more.
The EDGE Project has successfully engaged with multiple young people across Hampshire & continues to do so.
